It cannot be emphasized enough that the sizing of the gas supply line must be properly sized to provide enough volume of fuel gas at the minimum pressure required. Insufficient volume of fuel will result in poor burner performance.\u00a0 Be sure to account for all building appliances supplied by the same incoming gas line.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>BURNS Roasters require 1-psig minimum and 5-psig maximum natural gas pressure at the gas train inlet connection.\u00a0 Incoming gas pressure must be verified prior to operation.\u00a0 A pressure regulator may need to be supplied on the incoming line.\u00a0 Gas piping installation must conform to the applicable city, county, and\/or federal codes or in the absence, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfpa.org\/codes-and-standards\/all-codes-and-standards\/list-of-codes-and-standards\/detail?code=54\">NFPA 54 latest edition<\/a> must be followed.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"wp-image-12504\" src=\"https:\/\/www.burnsroasters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Energy-Requirements-Diagram-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.burnsroasters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Energy-Requirements-Diagram-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.burnsroasters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Energy-Requirements-Diagram-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/www.burnsroasters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Energy-Requirements-Diagram-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/www.burnsroasters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Energy-Requirements-Diagram-1536x1025.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.burnsroasters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Energy-Requirements-Diagram-900x600.png 900w, https:\/\/www.burnsroasters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Energy-Requirements-Diagram.png 1904w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>\r\n<figcaption>Technical Drawing of an Industrial Coffee Processing System.<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Water Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The BURNS Roaster has the ability to stop the bean roasting process by spraying water onto the coffee beans.\u00a0 This requires that the water pressure, flow, and quality must be adequate for the specified roaster.\u00a0 Consult with a Burns representative for specific roaster details.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Compressed Air Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The last item on our list of Industrial Coffee Roaster Energy Requirements is Compressed Air.
